Mills community discusses issues concerning racial profiling on campus

Mills students held a community meeting on Dec. 2nd to discuss racial profiling allegations towards Public Safety officers and descriptions of suspects from recent burglaries.

Examining disaster preparedness at Mills

Twenty years ago the Loma Prieta earthquake struck the Bay Area at an estimated 7.0 magnitude on the Richter scale. 63 people were killed, thousands more wounded and billions of dollars in damage resulted. While a portion of Interstate 880 in Oakland even collapsed, the Mills College campus was left relatively unscathed.

Health fair: Vendors present available community resources during annual event in Haas

Despite poor weather conditions and a last minute location change, vendors of all sorts came together to support the Mills community with information and souvenirs at this year’s health fair.
