Sophomore soccer team member Ashlyn Warny has been selected as the Mills Cyclone of the Week!

Warny is from San Diego and has long been involved in sports. She has shown herself to be athletically well-rounded: in high school she played varsity field hockey, basketball and softball at La Jolla High School in La Jolla, Calif.

“This is my first season playing soccer ever,” Warny said. “But since I have always been involved in sports I’ve learned how to always work hard and I’ve been able to pick up the sport pretty quickly.”

At Mills she is a member of the soccer team, and helped the team out last year even though she couldn’t play because of an injury.

“I love playing soccer at Mills because I am part of a really supportive and positive team that helps me play hard and push myself,” Warny said.
