In lieu of upcoming deadlines and final exams, it’s no doubt that Mills students need some stress relief.

Here are some campus events listed below for the Mills community to let loose, support fellow students and have fun!


A Concert of Early Music

Aladdin Sing-A-Long

“Sing Along to all of your favorite Aladdin songs while watching this great Family Friendly movie! This is an Office of Student Activities Final Friday Event, so it’s free to the entire Mills community. It is also the last Final Friday event of the semester, so don’t miss out! We will start at 7:30pm on Friday April 29. The meadow behind the Art Building is a great place to lay out your magic carpets with friends and relax before finals begin. There will be popcorn, prizes for Disney inspired costumes, and prizes for those brave enough to sing in front of the group!!! If too cold, we will move indoors.

Video Screenings

As we’ve reported earlier on the Mills students’ ongoing production for the Video II class, you can now view their music video “Boy from Leeds” and final film projects at the upcoming premieres for Video I and Video II.

Both screenings are FREE and open to the Mills community and guests. Snacks will be provided!

Mills College MFA Spring Open Studios

“The Mills College MFA program in Studio Art will be holding it’s annual Spring Open Studios on Saturday, May 7th, from noon to 5:00 pm. All twenty four graduate students will open their studios to the public. The work from this interdisciplinary program includes painting, sculpture, installation, ceramics, photography, fiber arts and more. Spring Open Studios is free and open to the public. Parking is available on campus.”
