As recommended by our Calendar Editor Priscilla Wilson, here is the link to the Map of the Damage From the Japanese Earthquake to better understand the situation in Japan geographically.

It is described as “an interactive map and photographs of places in Japan that were damaged by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.”
