The City of Oakland works on a project on MacArthur Blvd. in the
nearby Laurel District in an attempt to beautify the neighborhood.
The construction may cause traffic and parking delays or
difficulties. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end
of October. Some students say it has taken longer for them to find
parking than to make purchases at the neighborhood shops.
