Mills alumna gives back

A passion for travel and adventure and a dedication to public health led Mills alumna Annee Deering to cycle across the nation in a fundraising trip for the Davis Community Clinic in Davis Calif.

Deering, whose first name is pronounced “Uh-Nay,” began cycling while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies at Mills.

Former grad student accused of stalking Uma Thurman

A former Mills College graduate student, who was banned from campus earlier this year, is set to go on trial on March 11. He is charged of stalking actress Uma Thurman.

Jack Jordan was a student at Mills around 2005. In December, The New York Daily News reported that Jordan was pursuing his master’s degree in Literature at Mills before he drove to New York City to pursue Thurman.
