Senior cross-country runner Allison Cockerham is the Cyclone of
the Week. Cockerham, an art major from Fresno, CA, was the number
one runner for the Cyclones in the 17th Annual Mills Cross-Country
Invitational, leading the team to a 3rd place finish out of eight
Cal Pac Conference teams last Friday. She leads her teammates both
on and off the athletic field with her outstanding work ethic and
team spirit. Cockerham has demonstrated consistent improvement
throughout the season, and her solid race on Friday was her
season’s best performance. This is Cockerham’s first
season running cross-country at Mills, though she has played two
